이미지 경험과 지각된 세계의 충돌에서 생겨나는 미세한 틈을 통해, 현실과 이미지 사이의 구조적 간극을 탐색한다. 현실과 매체 속 이미지가 맞닿고 어긋나는 지점은 실재를 가로막아 드러나지 않는 것들을 만들어내며, 그 안에서 발생하는 감각적 혼란을 가시화하고자 한다.
보이지 않지만 존재하는 것들은 충돌의 흔적이자 파편처럼 풍경 속에 스며들며, 때로는 불현듯 낯선 이미지나 형상으로 모습을 드러낸다. 프레임과 배경, 색면과 형태의 조합이 만들어내는 균열은 단순한 시각적 효과를 넘어, 인간의 지각과 경험이 경계와 틈새 속에서 재구성되는 방식을 포착한다.
이 과정 속에서 보이는 것과 감각되는 것 사이의 불확실한 관계가 드러나며, 현실과 이미지의 간극 속에서 지각과 기억, 그리고 실재가 서로 얽히며 형성되는 다층적 구조를 인식하게 한다.
Through the subtle gaps that emerge from the collision between image experiences and perceived reality, I explore the structural chasms between reality and image. The points where reality and mediated images intersect and diverge create unseen phenomena that obstruct direct experience, and within these, I aim to visualize the sensory confusion that arises.
That which is unseen yet existent seeps into landscapes like traces or fragments of these collisions, occasionally revealing itself as unexpectedly unfamiliar images or forms. The fissures produced by the interplay of frame and background, color and form, extend beyond mere visual effects, capturing how human perception and experience are reconstructed within boundaries and interstices.
In this process, the uncertain relationship between what is seen and what is sensed becomes apparent, revealing a layered structure in which perception, memory, and reality intertwine within the gap between the real and the represented.
