패키지화된 심장은 체계화된 감정이 관리되고 유통되는 사회를 상상하며, 그것의 소비 과정을 시각화한다.
이 작품은 감정을 직접 선택하고 배송받는 시스템을 통해, 감정이 상품처럼 다루어지는 미래를 가정한다.
사람들은 이제 스스로의 감정을 만들어내지 않고, 이미 설계된 감정의 형태를 선택해 소비한다.
달달심장, 포근심장, 얼음심장, 자연심장 등으로 구분된 심장은 감정이 표준화되고 규격화되는 과정을 상징한다.
감정이 개인의 내면에서 분리되어 외부 시스템을 통해 관리될 때, 우리는 여전히 ‘느낀다’고 말할 수 있을까.
이 작업은 감정의 상품화가 만들어내는 인간의 태도, 그리고 그 안에서 드러나는 감정의 잔여를 탐구한다.
Packaged Hearts envisions a society where emotions are systematized, managed, and circulated, and visualizes the process of their consumption. This work imagines a future in which emotions are treated like commodities, delivered through a system where individuals can select and receive them directly.
People no longer generate their own feelings; instead, they choose from pre-designed emotional forms for consumption. Hearts categorized as Sweet Heart, Cozy Heart, Ice Heart, or Nature Heart symbolize the standardization and commodification of emotion.
When emotions are separated from the individual and managed through external systems, can we still claim to truly “feel”? This work explores the human attitudes shaped by the commodification of emotions, as well as the residual traces of feeling that emerge within that system.
