The work explores the process of perceptual differentiation. It records patterns of accumulated and dissipating afterimages, visualizing their imperfect repetitions. Just as the being in Frankenstein tentatively reaches out to sense the world for the first time, my work begins from moments when the world approached through tactile units.

Perception does not accumulate in a single linear direction; minute tremors and afterimages preceding conscious awareness oscillate repeatedly to take form. This process resembles a fractal: similar fragments of sensation reappear in varying sizes and positions, vanish, and proliferate anew. The indeterminate world emerges differently each time, and the self is recalibrated in its presence. I translate the gaps, voids, and residual traces arising from these subtle reciprocations into visual structures. In this way, perception is not a completed act but an ongoing process of returning, layering, and reconstruction.
