The other is an absolute domain—perhaps ultimately unknowable. Yet, despite this, we form relationships and build societies within these unfathomable boundaries. In a society where such structures are taken for granted, I suddenly felt a sense of estrangement. My work explores the subtle feelings of alienation and separation that arise within these relationships.

Within a single frame, elements flow gracefully, moving with a sense of fluidity. Yet, as distinct entities, they cannot fully merge. The presence of the frame reveals both continuity and separation, and an unseen structure organizes them.

If we simply maintain order, could we avoid blockage? Do we need understanding between us? In moments of becoming an outsider, these questions arose. I often turned over these thoughts and frequently became the outsider myself. Thus, I decided to let the elements intertwine, move, touch, and flow—yet remain distinct, existing individually. Flowing, yet separate.
