To settle is always a temporary act. Every place and moment we inhabit is in constant flux, never existing in a fixed or eternal form. People move between buildings and regions, spending their lives in motion. The spaces where we momentarily stay may seem permanent, yet places continuously transform as they carry the weight of time.

The artist explores traces of disappearance and lingering emotions within places encountered through movement—sites where time has been erased yet faintly remains. Ultimately, place, person, and time are distinct and never fully comprehensible to one another. Within these gaps, the artist observes the sense of futility, instability, and transience that arise. Even the feeling of having “settled” is a fleeting illusion; through this fragile tension, the artist reconsiders the meaning of space, the essence of dwelling, and the finitude of existence within the passage of vanishing time.
