Rather than conveying a single, complete narrative, the artist’s work awaits another story to unfold within the imagination of the audience. Fragments of memory left on the surface are recombined in unique ways within each person’s experience.

The viewer is prompted not just to ‘see’ the work, but to ‘recall’ it. This is not passive reception, but an active engagement in which one projects personal memories and emotions to reconstruct the image. Within the work, there exists space (空間)—empty gaps that serve as a stage for perception and imagination to intervene. The work reaches completion only in the moments where past experiences and present sensations overlap.
